Questions
Is the built-in browser safe to use?
It runs in its own sandboxed session. It denies every permission except clipboard writes after a click and Diffcut’s own tab capture, never starts downloads, and can’t open local files.
Where do captures go?
Into your project. Each screenshot is saved as an sRGB PNG in the project’s captures folder, with a small file that records where it came from, and shows up in the Captures bin, ready for the timeline.
Can it record my whole screen?
Not today. Capture records the browser tab inside Diffcut, with its sound. A native screen recorder is planned.
